Jeppesen NavData

ARINC 424 navigation database: SIDs, STARs and approaches, airports and runways, waypoints, navaids, communications, controlled and restricted airspace.

Electronic charts (JeppView MFD)

Digital Jeppesen charts on your MFD: departures, arrivals, approaches and airport diagrams. Available for systems from Garmin, Avidyne, Collins Aerospace, Honeywell and others.

Obstacles

Database of natural and man-made aviation obstacles – masts, towers, power lines – for alerting and moving-map display.

Terrain (TAWS)

Consistent terrain data for terrain awareness and warning systems (TAWS), synthetic vision and moving maps.

Airport maps

Detailed runway, taxiway and apron layouts (SafeTaxi, Airport Moving Map) for better situational awareness on the ground.

Basemap

Background map: coastlines, rivers, lakes, cities, roads and borders. Updated periodically, no expiry date.

FMS databases

Navigation data for flight management systems (FMS) in aeroplanes and helicopters, prepared in the format required by the system manufacturer.

Bundles priced below individual databases, e.g. PilotPak for Garmin systems (GTN, G1000) and bundles for Avidyne.

Updating: Jeppesen Distribution Manager

Data is downloaded with the free Jeppesen Distribution Manager (JDM) for Windows, macOS, iPad and iPhone, then loaded into the system from an SD card or USB drive – or wirelessly on selected systems. We will help you set up JDM and complete your first update.

Data quality

Jeppesen data is produced under ISO 9001:2015 and RTCA DO-200B processes, and Jeppesen holds Letters of Acceptance (LoA) from the FAA and EASA. Current certificates are published by the manufacturer: Jeppesen ForeFlight Trust Center.
