Ground Power Supply Systems (GPU)
3×200/115V; 400Hz with power ratings of:
7.5 kVA 28V DC; rated current of 600A with the option to limit to 300A. Starting current ranges from 1200 to 2400A.
All GPU units are offered in both stationary versions, installed near the apron or in hangars, as well as mobile versions on carts designed for pushing and towing. GPU units operating on 400Hz AC voltage are also available in a version suspended under passenger boarding bridges.

Ground Power Units (GPU) 400 Hz / 28 VDC / 270 VDC
ITW GSE 1400 28 VDC GPU
Compact solid-state 28 VDC ground power unit, available as a mobile (towable) or fixed version. Rated 400–600 A with peak loads of 1600 or 2400 A for engine starts. No rotating parts means minimal wear and high reliability, even in harsh climates.
ITW GSE 2400 Compact 400 Hz GPU
Solid-state 400 Hz frequency converter for point-of-use installation at the stand, on the boarding bridge or in the hangar. Up to 400% overload capacity, suitable for all aircraft types (including A380, A350, B787) and compliant with ISO 6858 for voltage quality at the aircraft plug.
ITW GSE 2400 – 270 VDC, 400 Hz GPU
Military version of the 2400 series delivering 270 VDC and 400 Hz for the most advanced aircraft, including the F-35 and F-22. Modular, compact design suitable for wall mounting, with excellent voltage quality thanks to the Plug & Play system.
ITW GSE 2400 Power Coil
400 Hz / 90 kVA power supply and cable reel combined in a single enclosure mounted under the passenger boarding bridge. The 24 or 28 m cable retracts fully into the housing, protecting it and keeping the apron clear. Works with all bridge sizes and aircraft types.
ITW GSE 2400 Cable Retriever
Automatic 400 Hz cable retriever supplied with 24 m of symmetrical cable. The aircraft plug has LEDs and push buttons for operating the retriever and the connected power unit. Works with any 400 Hz source and forms an integrated system with ITW GSE GPUs.
ITW GSE 7400 eGPU
Battery-powered 400 Hz ground power unit for remote stands, hangars and gates without fixed 400 Hz. Available with one or two outlets for narrow- and wide-body aircraft. Zero local emissions, silent operation and low maintenance – a replacement for diesel units.
ITW GSE 7400 JetEx 28 VDC eGPU
Battery-powered 28 VDC ground power unit for hangars and remote use, suitable for Cessna Citation, Beechcraft, Gulfstream, Falcon, ATR 42/72, Dash 8 and more. Up to 100 engine starts on a single charge; can be recharged while powering an aircraft.
ITW GSE DC Charger
Scalable DC charger for electric ground support equipment (eGSE). It uses surplus capacity from the ITW GSE 2400 GPU, enabling ramp electrification without upgrading the electrical infrastructure.
ITW GSE Power Share
Load-sharing box for the gate (part of the EcoGate system). The GPU and PCA always take priority, while surplus grid power feeds other equipment such as eGPUs or chargers. Avoids costly grid connection upgrades.
Pre-Conditioned Air (PCA)

Fixed pre-conditioned air unit with automated aircraft type detection via VDGS/BMS integration and stepless airflow regulation. Modular design – cooling modules can be swapped in about 20 minutes. Optional Intelligent Power Management (IPM).
ITW GSE 3500 Mobile PCA
Trailer-mounted mobile PCA based on 3500 PCA technology. Delivers powerful aircraft cooling at remote stands, temporary gates or during terminal upgrades – without fixed infrastructure investment.
ITW GSE 3500 Air Coil
Automatic, motorised PCA hose management system with smart controls. Reduces air leakage and manual handling, and works with SuperHose AirTight and KinkFree hoses. Part of the EcoGate system.

400 Hz Single Jacket Cable Assemblies
Modular single-jacket 400 Hz cable assemblies. Gold-plated contacts, plug-in switch modules (3–5 min replacement, no wiring) and a replaceable contact section. Compared with banded cable, they reduce phase unbalance by 97% and voltage drop by 35%.
400 Hz Banded Cable Assemblies
Cost-effective alternative to single-jacket cables. Complete 400 Hz cable assemblies built to C5756, MIL-C-25488 and MIL-C-7974D specifications, available in various lengths.
400 Hz Aircraft Cable Assembly
Modular, fully watertight 400 Hz assembly of low-loss cable and connector (vulcanised together), well suited to the 2400 Power Coil. The split F pin safety device prevents the aircraft from moving away while the cable is connected.
270 VDC Low Inductance Ground Power Cable
Low-inductance 270 VDC (72 kW) cable for the F-35 and F-22, designed for the ITW GSE 2400 270 VDC GPU. Replaceable contact section (3–5 min), optionally with Thermgard thermal sensor. Capacitors in the cable head maintain interlock voltage during overloads up to 250%.
28V DC Banded Cable
28 VDC cable assembly with a moulded head built for harsh flight-line conditions. Made to C5756, MIL-C-25488 and MIL-C-7974D specifications. Standard lengths 30–60 ft, conductor sizes 2/0 and 4/0.
Replacement Contact Sections
Replacement contact sections for ITW GSE cables – replace only the worn nose instead of the whole cable, in about 5 minutes. Available in blue, yellow (high visibility), black (heavy duty) and green with Thermgard sensor.
Abrasion Resistant End Cap
Replaceable end cap made of durable composite for yellow and green 400 Hz contact sections, compatible with all aircraft types. 2–3 minute replacement extends contact section life and reduces cable repair costs.
Inspection Test Kit for Cables & Connectors
Complete kit for inspecting cables and connectors in a lockable case: aircraft connector tester, pin gauge, tensiometer, imaging IR thermometer, durometer, contact brushes, SAE test documents and step-by-step instructions.
PCA Hoses & Accessories
SuperHose
Patented PCA hose, 50–65% lighter than conventional PVC-coated hoses and 5 times more abrasion resistant (a 60 ft hose weighs about 35 lb). Woven nylon inner liner with aluminium/polyethylene insulation.
Premium PCA Hose
Insulated, flexible PCA duct for heating and air-conditioning, two-ply abrasion-resistant vinyl-coated fabric. Also available wire-wound (5–36″ diameter, 3–40 ft lengths) and with straight or 90° tapered adapters.
Velcro and Zipper Flat Duct
Insulated flat PCA duct without wire reinforcement – can be flattened and rolled for storage. Zipper and Velcro cuffs for longer assemblies, 14″ diameter, -40°F to +125°F, R-value 8.0 or higher.

Nylon PCA Connector
Patented JB730 nylon composite PCA connector with a snap-on gasket replaceable in the field within minutes. UV resistant and resistant to fuels, chemicals and solvents; for heating and air-conditioning.
Swivel Aircraft Adapter
Patented JB360 swivel adapter providing 360° rotation between the PCA hose and the aircraft. Compensates for twists and kinks, maximises airflow and saves ramp staff time. Available in 13″, 48″ and 96″ lengths.
Flat Duct Reel Cart
Reel cart for storing flat PCA duct on the ramp. Removes obstructions and reduces wear on hoses and connectors. Fitted with toe brakes, finished in safety yellow; various configurations available.
Yoke Assembly
Yoke holding 1–3 PCA flat duct reel carts, mounted on the passenger boarding bridge or free-standing. Single or dual reel versions, front or side mounting, optional extended arm.

B-Pit
Stand-side pit providing 400 Hz power or a 50 Hz socket (up to 250 A); can also house 28 V DC cables, earthing, RJ45 and compressed air. 700 × 700 mm, EN 124 class F900 (90 t).
Flex-Pit
Multifunction pit for maintenance hangars: the Pop Out system raises cables and sockets 50 cm above the floor. Houses 400 Hz and 28 V DC cables, earthing, data and compressed air. 1810 × 990 mm, class F900.
Pop-Out Pit (BRN 400)
Pit storing 400 Hz cables at remote stands, flush with the apron when closed. Counterweight-assisted lifting, water- and sand-tight, internal lighting and a sliding electrical box for easy maintenance.
PCA Pit
Underground pit for a 14″ PCA hose with a pop-out guide that presents the aircraft connector at hand height. Counterweight-assisted opening, IP55, corrosion-resistant materials.
Fuel Pit
Hydrant fuel pit for aircraft refuelling: stainless steel box, aluminium cover, 19″ inner diameter, compliant with EN 124 F900 and API 1584.

ISO 461-1 aircraft 400 Hz connector: 450 A continuous, 115/200 V, IP67, lightweight aluminium body with replaceable LEDs, switches and nose.
LOV 400
Manual coiler for aircraft power cable (up to 25 m) for hangars and aprons without underground installations. Optional dual 400 Hz + 28 V DC version and earthing cable reel.
BC 400
400 Hz control box for airport and air-base maintenance: checks phase voltages, phase rotation and E/F pin functions of the aircraft connector within seconds.
AN 400 INFRA
Protection box for avionics workshops, protecting staff from electric shock and equipment from overcurrent during 400 Hz testing (16 A outlet, 115/200 V).

Cost-effective 115/200 V 400 Hz connector for powering aircraft. Silver-plated copper contacts, IP66/IP67 without potting, impact- and chemical-resistant thermoplastic body, replaceable handle/strain relief. Suits composite and single-core cables.
PD400 Connector (400 Hz) – detachable nose
400 Hz connector with a detachable nose – front power/control contacts and insulator are replaced without dismantling the connector. IP66/IP67, configured to customer requirements.
PDS400 Connector (400 Hz) – push button controls
The latest Plane Power connector: detachable nose, replaceable push buttons and LED indicators, IP67 sealed. Fully configurable.
P28 Connector (28 VDC)
28 VDC 3-pole connector for ground power: 450 A continuous, 1500 A for 1 minute, IP66/IP67, to ISO 461-1/2. Replaces the discontinued Type M1/M3 connectors.

Robust, cost-effective way of joining 400 Hz ground power cables. ISO 461 interface, M8 (power) and M6 (E, F) threaded terminals, 450 A, low profile, gasket included.
PPM400 Panel Mount Connector (400 Hz)
Safe connectorised solution for cable exiting enclosures (e.g. GPU). IP66/IP67 when mated, silver-plated power and gold-plated control contacts, up to 24 control contacts, optional cover.
PJS400 Junction Sleeve (400 Hz)
